Blue Ribbon Campaign
The Blue Ribbon Campaign is a national campaign recognizing April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The CAC holds several events during the Blue Ribbon Campaign to raise awareness about child abuse on a local level. Funds raised through the campaign help provide CAC services to local child victums of abuse. Blue Ribbon Friday for Kids is held the last Friday in April. Special t-shirts are on sale every year beginning in February and throughout the month of April. Special events are also held throughout the month. Call today to find out how YOU can help!
Blue Ribbon Week in the Schools: The CAC encourages local elementary schools to participate in Blue Ribbon Week with special activities for children throughout the week. Activities are centered around the Blue Ribbon theme as well as ensuring children know how to stay safe.
Koins for Kids: Special containers are available for you to collect spare change to donate back to the CAC to help "change a child's life."
Brian Brackin Memorial Blue Ribbon Motorcycle Ride: A special motorcycle ride in memory of the late Retired Sergeant Brian Brackin and long-time Board Member, Brian Brackin is held each year to raise funds for the CAC. Call today for more information on these exciting Blue Ribbon events!
The “Tee Off For Kids” golf tournament is held every year in September at Highland Oaks Golf Course. The tournament helps to raise funds for the CAC. Sponsorship opportunties are available. The 2016 tournament will be held on Thursday, September 15. Request your information on sponsorship today! Play for the tournament is a four man scramble. Mark your calendars and get your team together quickly! This tournament fills up fast.
